I shall also have a large black briefcase (my only carry-on), which contains the cash money ($16,394 USD) to pay for the demorage and miscellaneous fees that you have specified. We can either go together to switch the currency into Euros or if it is okay with you perhaps we can avoid this step and make the transactions using US currency. Please let me know when I arrive.
Please let us keep this flight schedule and planned meeting just between us. I will be traveling alone, and get a little nervous carrying this much cash around.

Please on your arrival in Holland today do not contact anyone except the security company for proper directives. I just hope you are able to read this mail before the fake people comes to you because I believe they will only take the money from you willingly or forcefully.
I am very sorry for problem and inconveniences this might caused but I am happy this is discovered on time which might make you loose trust in me.

I am not arriving in Holland today nor am I going to London in a few days (How could you mention London knowing the circumstances?). My plane does not leave until January 17. What kind of stupidness are you trying to pull??? I told you that I would not be able to get the money in cash until the 15th of this month... That is the reason for the delay.
Now, if you are still sincere about this transaction, then be straight with me. I don't have time for games! If you would like, I can cancel my flight to Amsterdam, and book another one to somewhere like Paris if you are truly concerned about security, but as I told you in an earlier email - London is out of the question. Please note that I will be very tired upon arriving, and most likely
jet-lagged. I will most likely need to rest before we do any transactions.
I plan to check into the Crowne Plaza Amsterdam-American upon my
arrival. This is located at Leidsekade 97 (Leidse Square - about
9 miles from the airport). I will not be keeping the money or the
diamonds in the hotel safe, as I am concerned about security. I
feel that they will be much safer in my room. I don't think that
I'll feel secure carrying that much money or jewels. We need to
discuss when we should meet so that I don't have to carry them around

your voice on the phone, and now I have a face to go with that angelic
voice. I've actually missed hearing it, and have thought about telephoning
you within the next few days just to touch base.
Personally, I would prefer that you receive me at the airport yourself
instead of the diplomat that I do not know. Please understand darling
that I will be carrying over $16,000 dollars with me in a briefcase,
twenty precious diamonds worth over $500,000, and a gem-laden tiara
that could easily fetch a quarter of a million dollars. Due to this

Dear Ruth,
I'm glad you sent your picture so that I knew it was you. I'm sorry you can't access your Dygo account. Soon we will be together and won't have to rely on email. We can talk in person.
I went to the bank today and made the withdrawal. The bank manager gave me a strange look taking out this much cash money, but I don't think they were too suspicious.
Everything is all set now. I only need to pack my bags, and find a safe way to transport the tiara and diamonds. Of course I'll pack them in the briefcase with the demurrage money, but I just need to ensure that they are wrapped very very carefully so that no damage occurs.
I'm quite depressed at this time because my cat, Precious, has died. She managed to get outside yesterday morning somehow and I hadn't seen her all day. When I arrived home from work last night I found her frozen body on the front porch by the door. Long scratch marks were down the face of the door, as though she was trying frantically to get into the house to escape the weather. Poor thing - had I only been home I could have saved her. The weather outside is frightful. Unbelievable for Texas but yesterday it was ten degrees below zero. So my heart is broken because she was very special to me. Do you have any pets that are dear to you? Can you possibly understand how it feels to lose one?

Ruth, what exactly is happening? I thought it was arranged that I would be meeting with you initially instead of the diplomat, Hon. King Collins. I'm sorry for not writing earlier. I had much to take care of before
putting business aside for a long leisurely vacation.
You will be most pleased to hear that I am in Amsterdam now! I decided
to catch a flight early so that my trip can be extended by a few
days and for security reasons in case someone had read your mail.
I was on Singapore Airlines Flight 35 and only just arrived this
morning (Holland time) at 10:00am. Therefore it is not necessary
for Mr. Collins to wait for me at the airport.
I've spent a good part of the day relaxing. Long flights make me
very very tired, and I wanted to be fresh when I at last saw you.
On impulse I decided to switch to a more secure hotel with less
lavish surroundings. I thought it only appropriate that I check
into the Hotel Princess on Overtoom. Not a real fancy place, but
it is good enough for me. When you email me back, I will tell you
where we should meet. I am not taking any chances here. We must
use a code so that I know it is you. When you email me back please
write the words "kojak is alive" in the subject. If I receive any
emails without that code I will know that someone is trying to impersonate
you, and will not respond to it.
All of your talk about someone pretending to be you has made me
very jumpy indeed in a strange country. But what a wonderful place
this is! For lunch I ate at the Wanka Restaurant on Bosboom Toussaintstr.
I must admit that I have a fondness for teriyaki shrimp and asparagus,
and Wanka has the best that I've ever tasted. This evening, I will

I arrived here in Amsterdam earlier than planned due to security
reasons. For my safety I insist that we use a code in all future

Ruth has informed me that someone has been pretending to be her
to steal from me while I am here. I have also advised her to use this same code.
I will want to meet with you and Ruth in a public place at first
